Three Services, Three Scopes
Each Job Is Defined Before It Begins
From a single diagnostic reading to a fully documented long-form overhaul — the scope, cost and timeline of every service are stated in writing before the movement is touched.
← Back to HomeHow Work Is Carried Out
Intake
A written intake script is followed at the counter. Known history, previous service records, and the current symptom are all recorded. Nothing is assumed about condition or prior work.
Diagnostic
The movement is measured before disassembly. Amplitude, rate, beat error and case integrity are recorded with calibrated instruments. Photographs are taken of the dial, caseback and any damage.
Estimate and Agreement
A written cost plan is issued. Each proposed action is priced separately. The owner accepts all, some, or none of the work before anything beyond the diagnostic takes place.

Standards Applied Across All Services
Calibrated Equipment
Timing machines and pressure test equipment are checked against known references. Results are only issued when the instrument is confirmed in calibration.
Monitored Storage
Pieces not on the active bench are in a combination-locked safe within the workshop. Access is logged per session. Long-form service pieces may be inspected by appointment.
Provenance Transparency
All replacement components are identified by source — original manufacturer, new old stock, or fabricated in-house — before fitting. The source is recorded and disclosed.
Pre-Work Written Agreement
No repair work beyond the diagnostic is carried out without a written cost plan agreed by the owner. Partial scope acceptance is always an option.
Single-Watchmaker Continuity
One person carries each piece from intake to handover. No transfer between technicians; the watchmaker who opened the movement closes it.
Data Handling
Owner information is held only for the duration of the job and standard record-keeping requirements. It is not used for marketing or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

An intake conversation can establish that before any appointment is set. Send an enquiry with the make, model and what you've noticed, and a response will follow.
